ICANN Will Offer New Internet Domains Next Year


Next year, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) will open up its list of generic Top Level Domains (gTLDs) to applications from anybody with the $185,000 evaluation fee.
Would-be gTLD owners have a bit of time to put on their thinking caps—the application period runs from January 12 to April 12, 2012, after which time ICANN will publish all the domains that were requested and people can raise objections to any of them.

German research team reveals a shopping robot and other makes breakfast (Video)


Research team in University of Technology, Germany reveals an amazing two new robots, to present how far they are improved in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence.
The research team created two new robots one for shopping and buying goods and the other make breakfast.
The first robot was designed in The United States, and he can scan the shelves in any store and choose the goods that the owner wants then carry them and organize them at home in their place.

A Robot pronounced a japanese man and woman husband and wife at a wedding ceremony.


This robot is usually used in museum and exhibitions to direct visitors, and with the help of a flower headpiece, and a new programme, it pronounced Satoko Inoue and Tomohiro Shibata man and wife at a Sunday ceremony.

The robot name is i-fairy, the event is the first wedding  ever presided over by a robot, a fitting marriage for the couple who met through the machines.

The bride, Inoue, works for the company that makes the i-Fairy, and her husband, Shibata, is a client.

"It's true that robots are what caused us to first begin going out, and as suggested by my wife, we decided that we wanted to try this sort of wedding," Shibata said after making his vows.

EVOLTA Robot Finishes 500km Journey from Tokyo to Kyoto



The story has begun when Panasonic wanted to advertise about her new rechargeable batteries Evolta and prove its higher capacity and the thought was to make a little robot working with these batteries and travel a journey from Tokyo to Kyoto, The two cities are 500km apart, The idea was to film the journey in the commercial advert.
